Summer probably seems a long way off, so to get away from the dreary UK winter
we're organising a tango week away in beautiful Montenegro during their
February carnival season.
Octavian & Frances will be taking Oktango students and other tango dancers from
Europe for a week of tango by the sea. There'll be 12 hours of lessons plus
practicas and milongas - and most importantly plenty of opportunity to relax, enjoy
the sea, delicious local food, great social nights out, quiet walks, stunning views
and trips to famous landmarks. February is a month of traditional carnival
festivities including the Mimosa Festival. The weather is usually sunny and parties,
dances, masked balls, concerts and other fun activities are a daily occurrence in
Herceg Novi, where we'll be staying.
We'll be hosted in Montenegro by Milan & Sladjana, who you may know from our
classes. They're locals, and do a brilliant job of showing us around and looking
after us there.
If you've not been on a dance holiday before, it really is lots of fun! Perfect if you
want to get a balance between hanging out with like-minded people and doing
your own thing. There'll be people you know from the classes as well as new
tangueros to meet.
The holiday includes:
- 12 hour tango course with Octavian & Frances (separate classes for beginners
& advanced students)

- well organised programme including tango nights out
- friendly and professional hosting by our multilingual local team
- airport transfers from Tivat and Dubrovnik airports

Everything was so good! ... the preparation ... the flexibility ... expectations were
exceeded in every area. This made it one of the most enjoyable holidays that I
have had and I look forward to doing it again. Herceg Novi is such a beautiful
place that when I come again I will stay longer than the tango festival. Besides
enjoying the climate, the scenery and the food there may be a chance to continue
